Something has gone wrong. The time stream has altered, and the Middle Ages aren't what they used to be. Now it's up to you to repair the temporal fault in A Prophecy of Dragons, the second expansion for T.I.M.E. Stories.

What will you find when you step into your caisson and go through with the Tachyon Insertion? Even though they use the same mechanics for tracking your time and progress, no two T.I.M.E. Stories missions are ever the same. The Tachyon Insertion process has made it possible to send your consiousness into receptacles anywhere in time and space. The result is that you can be anyone, travel to any time, and face any number of thrilling challenges. Every mission asks you to utilize a different array of skills, and in A Prophecy of Dragons you'll need to use your mind, your muscle, and your magic to solve the most unusual of mysteries…

The Mission

A Prophecy of Dragons uses the same elegant mechanics for hiding and revealing information as all other T.I.M.E. Stories missions. Each time you travel to a new location – starting with the T.I.M.E. agency base—you create that location with an array of cards. To explore it, you and your friends must move through it, placing the tokens that represent your receptacles adjacent to the section you wish to investigate.

In A Prophecy of Dragons, as with other T.I.M.E. Stories missions, you begin with limited information. You're not quite sure how history has been altered. But by exploring the different locations to which you travel, you can uncover the clues that will lead you to the fault. And if you also use those early encounters to gain familiarity with your receptacle's talents and to collect weapons, keys, and other valuable tools, you might just be able to prepare yourself for the challenges that lie ahead.

Magic in the Middle Ages

The receptacles in A Prophecy of Dragons have been chosen for their involvement in the local guilds, and it's up to you to use their contacts to gather clues about the nature of the temporal fault. You'll also need to make good use of your receptacle's talents. Your mission isn't without a certain measure of peril. There are traps and foes that will fight you. Also, these Middle Ages aren't like those you would have studied in your history classes; they're permeated by magic, and that magic can be used against you.

Fortunately, some of your receptacles can also wield this world's magic. And those who can't still boast their own considerable skills.

Save the Future

Forget all that you know about the Middle Ages. The timeline has been altered, and it's your job to restore it before your future unravels. In a game of infinite possibilities, you have to keep an open mind. Anything could be a clue, even a pair of Collectible Briefs . What could they have to do with the temporal fault? To find out, you'll just have to keep exploring. Step into your caisson, travel to the past, and repair the temporal fault.
